WHAT
Over 100 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community members and our straight allies will gather to celebrate LGBT families and our progress toward full equality. The celebratory rally will include a family picnic, press conference and screening of the locally produced documentary “In Anita’s Wake,” a film that looks back at 33 years of Florida’s notorious anti-gay adoption law.
The rally is being held in contrast to the rabidly anti-gay National Organization for Marriage and their national tour, which stops in Florida on Sunday.

1:30 pm - Premiere Sneak Preview Screening of "In Anita's Wake" a look at Florida's notorious anti-gay adoption law (70minutes)
2:45 pm – Q&A featuring filmaker Vicki Nantz and others featured in the film.
Media are asked to attend the press conference at 1:00PM and are welcome to come early or stay late to speak with LGBT families, Vicki Nantz, and others leading the fight to end the adoption ban.
