It's time again for the Annual Meeting of the Greater Miami Chapter of the ACLU of Florida on Tuesday, December 1. The virtual event is open to all ACLU members and supporters in Miami-Dade County.

Join us for the annual election of our board members and officers; hear important presentations from our committees; and learn how to become a board member! All Miami-Dade County ACLU members can vote for board members, and all chapter board members can vote for officers!

Join the Sarasota Chapter of the ACLU of Florida for our virtual annual meeting and board elections on Tuesday, December 1. During the annual meeting, we will have a know your rights presentation on protests and demonstrations with James Shaw, Jr., legal panel chair for the ACLU of Florida.

It's also time to select the Sarasota Chapter's board members. Please email sarasotaaclu@gmail.com for an application for the board. According to our chapter bylaws, “No person shall be eligible to serve as a chapter board member unless they have been nominated by the Nominating Committee or have attended at least three board meetings in the previous 12 months prior to the election. No person employed by the ACLU‐FL or by any chapter shall serve as a member of the chapter board."
