Among other things, it creates the State Board of Immigration Enforcement within the Department of Law Enforcement, comprising the Governor and Cabinet as agency head. Appropriates $300 million to support Trump’s mass deportation agenda. Repeals in-state tuition for undocumented students by ending fee waivers for those who are not “citizens of the United States or lawfully present in the United States.” Provides that students currently receiving an in-state tuition waiver must be reevaluated for eligibility beginning July 1, 2025. Creates a third degree felony for voting while not a citizen. Provides that ignorance or misplaced belief in citizenship status is not a defense.
