Removes requirement for counties to use the most efficient and accurate ballot counting process. Current Florida Statutes require that counties must use electronic tabulation voting systems, which research has shown is more accurate and efficient than counting ballots by hand. This bill removes the requirement for electronic tabulation and opens the door for hand-counting of ballots, which is more prone to human error, less accurate, and less efficient.
