Gaby Guadalupe is Director of Communications for the ACLU of Florida since January 2023. She joined the ACLU of Florida in October 2016 as the Media Relations Coordinator, and served as Deputy Communications Director from August 2020 through January 2023. In this role, she oversees long-term communications strategy for the affiliate, cultivates press relations, coordinates media opportunities and provides communications support for the ACLU of Florida offices.
Prior to this position, she worked at República, a cross-cultural agency, where she assisted with the launch of community initiatives such as, Telemundo’s El Poder En Ti and Yo Decido, which empower Hispanics to maximize their economic, cultural and civic contributions nationwide. She has also worked with other organizations such as CNC, a non-profit organization providing human services to those in need throughout Miami.
Gaby is a Miami native, and graduate of G. Holmes Braddock High School in Kendall. She earned her B.A. in political science and minor in journalism from Florida International University, and a master’s in legal studies from American University.
