Erica Henschel joined the ACLU of Florida in November 2024 as the Major Gifts Officer. She most recently served as the Senior Manager of Development for National 4-H Council where she was responsible for cultivating high-impact partnerships with corporations across the US.
Erica has over a decade of non-profit experience and has held positions with Canine Companions, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, and Susan G. Komen. She has successfully led fundraising campaigns, managed development teams, and implemented sustainable donor engagement strategies. Her favorite part of development is connecting donors with their philanthropic passions to make a difference in their communities.
Erica holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Health Services Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Stony Brook University. She currently resides in Western Florida and enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her rescue dog.
