Caroline McNamara joined the ACLU of Florida in January 2022 as a staff attorney focusing on voting rights.
Carrie earned a BM in Euphonium Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a JD with High Honors from the University of Washington School of Law. She clerked for the Hon. Andrew J. Kleinfeld of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and before joining the ACLU, practiced commercial litigation for a decade in New York and Colorado, primarily in the areas of antitrust, securities, and intellectual property. Carrie grew up in Georgia but was born in Miami; she proudly returns to protect and defend the rights and liberties of Floridians.
