The ACLU of Florida, FLIC and other coalition groups are collecting stories to advocate for fair and inclusive federal immigration reform. This project is an opportunity for all people – including those who have been afraid to speak up because of their immigration status – to share their stories and advocate for a path to citizenship. This is especially true for people that so far have been excluded from current immigration reform proposals, such as LGBT families, people with minor criminal convictions, and veterans who have been deported themselves or had family members deported.

In the few weeks since the project was launched, over 70 people have shared their stories.

All Floridians are welcome to participate regardless of their immigration status. Become a part of the project: share your family’s immigration story or simply the reasons why you support federal immigration reform at our toll-free hotline, 1-855-236-1494.

Your story can change America’s story.
